Wilfredo Jimenez Director - Construction Projects

Mr.  Jimenez consults on a variety of risk management, project management, construction management, contractor, and post disaster reconstruction issues. He has worked with many companies in the construction industry including small contractors, major construction management, and public sector agencies. He has also worked with individual clients on repair, addition, and general improvement projects.

Prior to becoming a consultant and joining the Courton Group Mr. Jimenez worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals  as a Lead Operator on DDP/Lasers and Printers in the drug manufacture and distribution process. He attended shift transfer meetings and oversaw the work and assignments of a staff of 8 personnel.  He oversaw the setup, operation, and trouble-shooting of the lasers and printers . He coordinated material staging and requisition for lot/production runs.

From 1995 to 2007,  he worked on a variety of home construction projects. These projects include concrete and cementing of sidewalks, curbs, roadways, driveways, and other surfaces.  Installation of drywall, taping, finishing joints and painting.  Building and repairing floors, walls, partitions, and other structures with brick, pre-cast masonry, concrete blocks, and stone.  Installing and repairing doors, windows, staircases.  Remodeling of bedrooms, bathrooms, and basements.  He managed a crew of up to 7 employees on projects. He is/has been responsible for the identification, purchasing, shipping, and staging of materials at job sites.  He is/has been responsible for estimating job costs.

Mr. Jimenez has completed the courses on  Finance & Accounting, Project Management, & Risk Management of the Construction Management certificate program of The New York City College of Technology.  Mr. Jimenez has also completed three years of college study at SUNY New Paltz & Borough of Manhattan Community College towards a degree in Physical Education. He is a graduate of Christ the King  High School in NYC

Mr. Jimenez is bilingual. Fluent in speaking both English and Spanish.
