The Courton Group was officially incorporated in January of 1998. However, I have been practicing as an independent consultant since October of 1993 under the name Courton Associates which was changed to The Courton Group in 1996.

The original business plan called for operating three years prior to incorporation. The name was changed in 1996 to reflect the growth of the services offered to our clients.

The principal lines of business are Crisis Management, Emergency Response, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Information Security, Regulatory Compliance, Project Management, Risk Management, and Technology Consulting.

Gross revenues have increased an average of 35% over the past two years. Of course we expect that number to taper down to approximately 43% over the next 5 years, while keeping expenses under control.

Primary market is Fortune 1000 firms.
